The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Holy Trinity in Christianity, understood as God's divine presence, power, and activity in the world and within believers, acting as a guide, comforter, and source of empowerment. While Judaism sees the Spirit as God's divine force in prophecy and creation, Christianity expanded this to include the Spirit as co-equal with the Father and the Son (Jesus), a personal being with a mind and feelings, not just an impersonal force. The Spirit helps believers understand truth, convicts of sin, grants spiritual gifts, and enables them to live a Christ-like life, often described as God's breath or wind.
