Hope
It takes hope to believe the world can change. It takes courage to be part of it. Those who carry hope aren’t naïve or foolish. They’re just bold enough to devote their lives to service and the confident expectation that the future will be better than the past.

Charism
In Catholicism, a charism is a special, freely given gift or grace from the Holy Spirit, given to individuals or groups to build up the Church, serve others, and spread the Gospel, manifesting as particular talents, inclinations, or spiritual powers, ranging from ordinary (like teaching, service, mercy) to extraordinary (like prophecy, healing). It's the unique spiritual purpose or "personality" of a religious community (like the Jesuits or Franciscans) and also the unique gifts each baptized person receives for their specific role in the Body of Christ.

Is 42:1-4, 6-7
Thus says the LORD:
Here is my servant whom I uphold,
my chosen one with whom I am pleased,
upon whom I have put my spirit;
he shall bring forth justice to the nations,
not crying out, not shouting,
not making his voice heard in the street.
A bruised reed he shall not break,
and a smoldering wick he shall not quench,
until he establishes justice on the earth;
the coastlands will wait for his teaching.
I, the LORD, have called you for the victory of justice,
I have grasped you by the hand;
I formed you, and set you
as a covenant of the people,
a light for the nations,
to open the eyes of the blind,
to bring out prisoners from confinement,
and from the dungeon, those who live in darkness.

Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
" Today is the day I honor the Virgin Mary and Remember my Grandmother Patsy Pollock who passed away on this day in 2008. Fr. Young said she would pick a day the Virgin was honored to pass away on. Her special devotion to the Virgin Mary inspired my current devotion to the Virgin."
